Ambuja Golf Township: Large-Scale Mixed-Use Development in Amtala
Ambuja Neotia has announced a substantial mixed-use township planned for Diamond Harbour Road in Amtala, South 24 Parganas. The project integrates residential units across multiple income segments with leisure facilities centred on golf.
Project Scale and Composition
The development spans 15,346.4 katha and comprises three primary residential components:
- 2,264 HIG (high-income group) apartments in 3-bedroom configuration across 25 towers, ranging from G+18 to G+27 storeys
- 1,022 EWS (economically weaker section) apartments in 1-bedroom configuration across 10 towers, with G+8 to G+9 heights
- 433 bungalows, consisting of golf-facing and non-golf-facing units in 4-bedroom configurations with 2–3 storeys
Leisure and Hospitality Infrastructure
The project includes one golf club and one golf resort with 200 rooms. Combined residential and leisure facilities comprise 90 lakh+ square feet of built-up area. The golf-centric design reflects Ambuja Neotia's established expertise in leisure-integrated townships across Eastern India.
Location and Connectivity
Amtala is situated in the southern part of Kolkata, with pincode 700034. National Highway 12, also known as Diamond Harbour Road, is the primary access route to the area. The area offers connectivity to key job hubs such as Salt Lake City and Howrah.
