Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited was honoured with the "Most Impactful Healthcare Initiative of the Year – 2026" award at the Global CSR & ESG Awards 2026, held on 8th May 2026 at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, organised by Brand Honchos. The award recognised Project Dhadkan, an initiative born out of the group's commitment to making quality healthcare accessible for children with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD).
About Project Dhadkan
Ambuja Neotia Group launched DHADKAN, a flagship CSR initiative aimed to conduct fully-funded paediatric cardiac surgeries for underprivileged children diagnosed with congenital heart disease. The initiative was unveiled in the presence of Mr. Pradeep Lal Mehta, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited, Ms. Ruma Banerjee, Joint President & COO, Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited, Dr. Indrani Subramanian, Facility Director, Neotia Bhagirathi Woman and Child Care Centre (NBWCCC), New Town and Cardiology department, at NEOPEDICON, the flagship paediatric conference of Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited. Medical assessments, treatments, and surgeries under this initiative will be conducted at NBWCCC, New Town.
Every year in India, approximately 200,000 children are born with congenital heart defects. With timely intervention, most of these conditions are treatable. Yet access to advanced cardiac care remains out of reach for countless families who need it most.
Through health camps, community clinics and surgical interventions, over 1 lakh lives have been impacted, including more than 200 life-saving surgeries and sustained outreach across underserved communities.
Recognition and Track Record
Being selected by an esteemed Jury panel from among the finest CSR initiatives in the country is a moment of immense pride for the team. Beyond the Global CSR & ESG Awards, the initiative has garnered wider recognition. Neotia Bhagirathi Woman and Child Care Centre, New Town has been honoured with the Best Social Initiative of the Year 2025 for its healthcare project Dhadkan at the Indian Social Impact Awards, an initiative of Indian CSR Awards, on 17th December 2025.
