Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Expansion: ₹1,600–1,800 Crore Investment
Ambuja Neotia Group is planning to set up five new healthcare facilities in the next four to five years, investing around ₹1,600–1,800 crore. The healthcare vertical of the Kolkata-based group, Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture, will be setting up three hospitals in West Bengal out of the five new healthcare facilities.
Geographic Expansion
Looking to expand outside West Bengal, the group is exploring opportunities in Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Assam for the healthcare vertical. A new hospital in Raipur is expected to come up by the end of the next year. The group opened a 125-bed woman and child care unit in Guwahati around four months ago.
The group is looking to add another 1,500 beds in the next five years. Ambuja Neotia Group currently has four healthcare facilities across West Bengal and Assam with around 600 beds.
Clinical Focus and Recent Expansion
Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture announced the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Centre for Paediatric Multispecialty in its New Town Hospital in Kolkata. The expansion added 105 beds, making it a total of 220-bed facility. The new wing encapsulates all paediatric multi-specialty like paediatric cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology and nephrology.
The group is currently looking at multispecialty and mother and child combinations. It will first focus on building the brand and service of women and children.
