Neotia Bhagirathi Woman & Child Care Centre, Guwahati has been honoured with the prestigious Ankuram Excellence Award 2026 for outstanding service excellence. The award was conferred on 4th February 2026 and graciously presented by Padmashree Dr. Ilias Ali, in the august presence of eminent dignitaries and respected stakeholders from society.
The Facility
Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited established Neotia Bhagirathi Woman and Child Care Centre in the heart of Guwahati, with 100 beds spread across 76,000+ sq. ft. The super-speciality hospital exclusively catering to women and children aims to bridge the persistent gap in high-end reproductive, pediatric, and neonatal healthcare services across the region.
The hospital offers a range of specialised services including obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology, paediatric care and reproductive medicine.
About the Presenter
Padmashree Dr. Ilias Ali was conferred the Padma Shri civilian honour by the President of India in 2019, for his contribution towards raising awareness about family planning and birth control measures in the remote areas of Assam. He is a retired medical surgeon from the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital.
